Unlike the typically brightly designed laboratory devices, Cellectric takes an innovative approach to design. They focus on minimalism and clarity, combined with dark color tones. This design emphasizes their commitment even in the early development phase and has already received early recognition for this approach.

Researchers who need to achieve reliable results quickly and demonstrate progress require adequate tools and devices for efficient and uninterrupted work. Therefore, they are key partners for close collaboration with engineering to ensure optimal support. The focus is not only on effective communication but also on speed in prototype production.

In collaboration with Cellectric’s engineering and research team, we iteratively develop and manufacture devices, which are then rigorously tested and refined. We emphasize speed and reliability while ensuring that both the device and consumables can be efficiently produced in the future.

The engineering team, composed of numerous specialists, makes effective project management essential. We follow an agile approach with weekly meetings and foster a culture that encourages accountability and views mistakes as learning opportunities.

Although Cellectric is not yet in the mass production phase, we are already laying the groundwork. By aligning production methods early with the projected quantities, we pave the way for a smooth and efficient transition to series production at the appropriate time.

Since we are involved in the development of most components and assemblies, our collaboration with the Cellectric team is particularly close regarding bills of materials, requirements, and CAD. To efficiently manage assemblies consisting of several hundred parts while maintaining oversight, both proven processes and intensive communication with clear task allocation are essential.

Clear communication is especially crucial when agreeing on a design. Based on existing CAD data, we use rapid renderings to clearly represent materials, colors, and lighting. The results are not only compelling but also highly suitable for marketing purposes.
