With Corvitac, we were able to develop the next evolutionary stage of an optical pig counter and implement a new product for the agricultural sector. The high precision of animal counting improves farmers’ efficiency. The new method of tracking animals reduces stress for both the user and the animals during moving or loading.
During development, the specific requirements of the target group and the environment of use were taken into account, resulting in a mass-production-ready measuring device for counting animals in agriculture. Special attention was given to the intuitive usability of the system.
The integration of a display allows the user to receive live feedback on the current count and provides the ability to check the exact status at any time.
In addition to the operating system’s usability, handling and system architecture were revised and optimized.
The new system passed all necessary certification tests to ensure safe operation on site.
