
The challenge was to design a product that would meet the very different requirements of buyers and the two user groups, nursing staff and patients. Testing with the latter two groups brought us a few surprises, proving once again how essential prototyping and testing are. It was also exciting to consider the safety requirements for the medical device at a very early stage without compromising speed and flexibility.

DigniSens detects incontinence episodes and abnormal movements. Alarms are sent either via the call system or as a message to a smartphone, so that appropriate care can be provided quickly and precisely when it is most urgently needed.
