Mechanical Designer / Design Engineer (M/F/D)
(Full-time or part-time, Vienna & remote)
At Aspekt Development, we develop deep-tech devices that accelerate biotech innovations, make life sciences smarter, scale new-energy technologies – and actively shape the future of compute. Now we’re looking for you as a Design Engineer to create hardware that truly matters.
Your Mission
- 3D design of precise enclosures, mechanisms, and assemblies – from initial sketch to production-ready CAD assembly.
- Close collaboration with industrial design, electronics & firmware – real team innovation instead of departmental silos.
- Selection of materials & manufacturing processes, rapid prototyping, DFM/DFA & handover to production.
- Technical responsibility in projects for startups and global brands – variety guaranteed.
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in device or precision mechanics design (ideally SolidWorks).
- Understanding of plastics, sheet metal, milled parts & additive manufacturing.
- Enjoy solving complex problems elegantly – and preferably as part of a team.
- Fluent in German and English; hands-on mindset.
